Q: What is a PHC Hero?
A: A PHC Hero is a person who is signed up to be a monthly online donor to our PHC.

Q: Why?
A: As a financial strategy going forward, we at the PHC believe individual recurring donors will prove to be even more valuable than fundraisers, and to that end we need to increase community awareness of the PHC. We believe if every person in Manteca, Ripon, Escalon, French Camp, and Lathrop knew of our existence and our mission, easily enough of these people would give regularly, that our bills would be paid every month. The money we collect at fundraisers could then be used for special projects, increased growth, advertising, etc. in order to save even more lives.

Q: What’s in it for me?
A: You will receive more frequent communication regarding the status of the PHC, invitations to special events, and occasional material giveaways. Let’s face it: this is not a transaction where you are receiving goods or services in exchange for your donations. You would much rather we spend your donated funds by servicing our clients. However, you deserve recognition for being a Hero, and the recognition program is also a tool to spread awareness.

Q: Are you going to tell people how much I give?
A: No, we respect your privacy. Eventually, there may be special recognition for those whose giving totals a certain amount, or continues for a certain length of time, but we will ask your permission before sharing that information with anybody.

Q: What can I do to help?
A: Tell everybody you know about us, and encourage them to become PHC Heroes. Depending on the exact amount each person contributes, we need approximately 200-300 PHC Heroes to reach our financial goals and properly serve our community.
